How does the QR code dating shirt work?
You create your t-shirt in the Wearcode editor: a design, your QR code and, if you like, an icebreaker line. The QR opens your hosted page, which you fill with your bio, photos and links. When someone scans it with their phone camera, your page appears instantly, with no app to install.
Is my phone number or email visible?
No. Your page only shows what you choose to publish. Messages go through Wearcode messaging: neither your email address nor your number is shared with the person writing to you, and you don't see theirs either. It's up to you to share them later.
Who can message me from my page?
It's a page setting: your Wearcode friends only, all members (anyone with a free Wearcode account) or nobody. For a dating shirt, the "all members" option lets people who scan you write to you once they've created their account. Messages are limited each day to prevent spam.
What if I'm no longer single?
Congratulations! The printed QR code never changes, but the page behind it does: you can rewrite it completely (your hobbies, your club, your music) or unpublish it in one click. Your t-shirt keeps working, with a different message.
Will I know when someone scans me?
Yes, if you turn on the email alert in your page settings: you receive a message with the city and country of the scan, never the visitor's IP address. So you don't drown in notifications, alerts are capped at a few per day. The total number of scans is always available in your statistics.
Does it work for a bachelor or bachelorette party too?
Absolutely. For a bachelor or bachelorette party, each member of the group can have their own t-shirt and page, or everyone can point to the same page with the weekend's schedule and photos. You can order a single piece or outfit the whole group.
Who can create a page, and which t-shirt should I choose?
Hosted pages are reserved for adults. As for the garment, the whole Wearcode catalog works: t-shirt, hoodie or tank top, men's or women's fit, in the color of your choice. Each piece is printed on demand and shipped anywhere in Europe.
